See You in a Min!

I was finally able to get Herb’s phone back from the sheriff’s department – a year after his passing. I read every single text, of course, and didn’t find anything unusual. Then I noticed the last text on the list. It was from Timothy, who flew to Heaven almost a year before Herb’s death. Timothy texted his dad, “I’ll see you in a min.”
It was written two days before Timothy’s crash, and a whole year before Herb’s departure, but it was nonetheless true.
Here’s my take on it: We tend to think of eternity as having “lots of time.” But that is not entirely accurate. Eternity is outside the dimension of time altogether. You see, in eternity, there is apparently no measurement of time. There will be no night and no sun or moon because Jesus is the only light needed, and He will never go out! (Rev. 22:3-5; Rev. 21:23).
That being true, it follows that there will be no years, or at least they won’t be marked by 365 days, as we know them now. And “…with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2 Peter 3:8 NKJV). So, with no hours, no nights, and no years, in effect, we and all our redeemed loved ones arrive in Heaven on the same “day.”
Let that sink in.
Timothy arrived, looked around, and saw his dad, even though dad departed this earth a whole year later. And then he saw me.

"And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to Heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever and ever ... that there should be time no longer." Rev 10:5-6
What a wonderful story of a wonderful man.
